Conjure One - Conjure One

This is the debut release from Rhys Fulber of Delerium fame.

Now I bought this album based solely on the Tiesto remix of Tears From The Moon and their other single Sleep, both of which I'd heard on a number of compilations.

Initially I was disappointed with the album, it wasn't the Tiesto style dance-fest I thought it was going to be. Instead it was chilled trance style tunes. But after several listens my opinion changed, and I now think that this is an excellent album. So much so, that I thought it was worthy of a mention here on BeatzBase - after all it didn't seem to be getting much coverage elsewhere (it was hard enough finding it in HMV).

If you're looking for something to chill to, something to put on in the early hours after a banging night out, then this is the album for you. Turn down those lights, sit back and just ride the smooth flows and gorgeous lyrics.

It's not Delerium, but it is worth a place in your dance collection.
